Could be a nice town 1.5 rating By Home Hunter ( Nov 04, 2018) Sandusky could be a great bedroom community for families that could actually contribute something to the town. Instead, the focus seems to be on saving a crumbling downtown and starting a men's only homeless shelter. The neighborhoods are full of low end rental houses, most of ...Read More the sidewalks are dangerous and there is a blatant disregard for traffic laws in the residential areas. If Sandusky could attract a little more affluent population to at least live in town and quit catering to the welfare crowd, the local business environment would improve on its own. By the way, the fitness stations at the walking trail is a step in the right direction. It could be a nice, quiet and safe place to live. Read Less
