One must provide their own means of transportation if resident or visitor. Apex is considered part of the metro area along with Raleigh and Durham. Museums, a lake, recreation area, and restaurants are nearby. Colleges and universities are within twenty miles of Apex. Incidentally, Wake Technical Community College and Meredith College are two higher learning institutions nearby.

Most working adults hold Bachelor degrees or higher, and our poverty rate is among the lowest in the nation. Our city is growing, but maintaining a sense of who we have been is uppermost in the minds of city administration. Read Less
