Arlington Tennessee: A Neighbor to Memphis 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I had a delightful stay while living in Arlington Tennessee. The city is located in Shelby County. Arlington is close to Lakeland Tennessee. The town was named after Arlington Virginia, near the Washington D.C. area. Arlington has very high scholastic standards. It is a great pla ...Read More ce to relocate. Finding employment won't be an issue. The town has a wide range of employment opportunities. The housing market is viable, but the local economy is steep. The climate is very positive here. I have never experienced really bad weather.

Some of the best areas in Arlington Tennessee surround the historic downtown space. I enjoyed taking strolls in the central downtown area. It is a great place to walk and take in all the sights as well as historic buildings and monuments. There are shops nearby. Nicer restaurants are in the vicinity as well. Arlington has experienced positive economic growth over the past 10 years. It is great that Memphis is in close proximity. This always gave me more variety of amenities. Read Less
