If you're able to catch the Celebrate Brownwood Feels Like Home festival while you're in town, this is a fun way to learn about the area's culture. Lake Brownwood is also a beautiful place to visit, and there's lots of space to get an outdoor workout.
Santa Fe Railroad Depot and Harvey House is one of the most unique museums in the area for learning about the people who make Brownwood unique, and you can also visit the Martin & Frances Lehnis Railroad Museum will give you insight into the developments in transportation locally and nationally over the years.
