For a small town, Cadiz has a lot to offer- classic Ohio homes and buildings line the streets, a laid-back feel, plenty of stores and commerce, VERY affordable housing, friendly people, and it's surrounded by rolling hills and wooded areas. Crime is almost nonexistent.

Building is beautiful, classic 1800's architecture, the Clark Gable House is in Cadiz, and nearby are plenty of parks and recreational places like the Sally Buffalo Park, and it's close to many lakes including the beautiful and serene Tappan Lake- where the fishing and boating is AWESOME. There's a huge new(er) school there, and I have rarely, if ever seen graffiti or trash in the streets.
Unlike a lot of American cities, Cadiz folks are very friendly, and will welcome strangers with a smile and a "Hello, how are you" when you walk down the streets. Also unlike many USA cities- the Police, Sheriffs, and other LEOs I've met have all been respectful, professional, and friendly- maybe because everyone else there is, too!
I visit Cadiz quite often, and really LOVE that town.
