Camden, Arkansas: Room for Improvement 2.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I live in Camden, Arkansas and can vouch that it is truly a small community to reside in and it has a few issues. The population here in Camden is less than 12,000 and there has not been a lot of growth lately. The homes that you can buy or rent in the area are very affordable. M ...Read More y monthly rent is currently a little less than $600 monthly; however, some of the homes are showing their age.

Unfortunately, lately crime has seemed to be increasing. This may be contributed to the fact that the economy of the area is weak and the average income of area residents is low. People overall do seem to be kind, but you can’t ignore the recent arrest rate.

The local school system is in fair shape and does need some improves. If you are living in Camden, Arkansas and have kids, you might want to keep a close eye on their education. The best areas in Camden, Arkansas are the few small parks that the area offers. Read Less
