I originally came to Canyon, TX for college, but I NEVER LEFT! I love it. Canyon is a small town and the majority of the traffic is due in part to the University. So, if small college towns are not your thing, then you probably will not enjoy canyon.

n Canyon! The land is so flat, and the skies are so clear, that you have amazing sunny skies for miles. Personally, I love that. Canyon is also home to some great outdoor activities such as mountain biking. The best place to do this, as the name suggests, is in a popular canyon near by. Primary access to all the canyon has to offer can be made via PaloDuro Canyon State park. This is a great park that my Family and I enjoy multiple times a month.
Texas A&M is a great university and is home to a diverse number of undergraduate and graduate programs. The professors are much like the people who live in and around Canyon...Polite.
