Not That Bad 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 11, 2019) There isn't a lot to do in Conneaut and if you wanted to do something for fun, you will have to drive a little bit to Ashtabula, Ohio or Erie, Pennsylvania. Be sides that, the people who live in Conneaut are the sweetest you will ever meet, they are all helpful and help anybody l ...Read More iving in the community. The crime isn't bad like most people say it is, the worst you get is a domestic abuse but that's about it. Jobs are not the greatest due to the limited of shopping options in the area, like I said you would have to drive to Erie or Ashtabula. The only job that's makes you a lot of good money is working in the prison here. We no longer have a Kmart or Giant Eagle anymore. Read Less

If I had one complaint about Conneaut it would be th ...Read More e high crime rate. It started rising some years ago and just seems to have stayed that way. Housing and employment can be a bit hard to find as well. I will say that the neighborhoods we have, while they may not be fancy or very upscale, are decent and well-tended for the most part.

I'm a homebody myself, which is a good thing because there's not a whole lot to do around here for entertainment. We do have a few fun and interesting things to do to keep us busy when we're tired of looking at four walls. There's the Connault Historical Railroad Society, Buccia Vineyard, the Sheldon Calvary Company, and Sichko's Pub which has food and drink, live music, and a pool hall. We don't have anything very fancy around here, but we do have is nice and we like it. Read Less
