Well. I live on Amelia Island / Fernandina Beach. Heaven. 16 Miles of clean, beautiful beach. Educated - nice people. Everyone is happy, we know we are so lucky to live here. This is the South, no rushing around, only rude people are visitors form NY and NJ.

- It's so beautiful. We care for our amazing Live Oaks and Spanish Moss. Our Native Palm trees, Our Birds and our neighbors. Average January daytime temperature is about 66 degrees. February warms up with some days in the high 70's and 80. Summers are cooled by the Atlantic Ocean. A walk through Down Town Fernandina Beach you will find original Florida cottages and historic homes with tropical gardens. If you are looking for endless activities go South to Orlando or Miami. Or The Villages. This is a beach town, an Island. We enjoy nature and walk and bike all day. Best Restaurants in North Florida too.

Fernandina Beach has gorgeous weather, amazing beaches, and it is the place that I have called home my whole life. Living in Fernandina is amazing because the city has a relaxing small town vibe, but you can still venture out to the big city of Jacksonville less than an hour away ...Read More
. I have never had a shortage of things to do around Fernandina Beach. The best areas in Fernandina are probably Main Beach Park and Fort Clinch Park. I really love both of these parks because they have gorgeous beaches and a number of scenic areas to walk around.
Traffic can get heavier as you enter the Jacksonville area, but is not too bad usually before and after rush hour. There is a lot of nightlife, shopping, and dining around the area. I often like to venture out to River City Marketplace, which is a little over 30 minutes away. There you can find a number of stores and restaurants. My favorite restaurant there would definitely have to be Mellow Mushroom; they definitely have the best pizza in town!
Fernandina Beach is a beautiful place and I feel very lucky that I got the chance to grow up here. There is a lot to see and do around the area and will always be the place I call home!
