I stayed here for 1 night on my way to Tuscon using legendary 1-10 u.s. highway. Its a small town with reguler amenitys but it does not really shut off a night. It has a bunch of theft and it seems as the police have a lot to do. In West Texas, it gets very hot during the day. ...Read More
Fort Stocktons also not big on having lush backyards of clean grass. I also noticed that the vegatation (soil) is very rocky and dry. Oh and when we were driving we hit 3 pot holes in the road in 1 mile, they dont bother to fix their roads. To me its not very kid frendly place, i wouldnt raise a family out here, their are much better options in the state of Texas.
(p.s. dont injur yourself to where you have to go to the hospitol, it will take you 2 hours to get to the nearest one :(. . . . . )
