The Cowboy Way 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Feb 17, 2015) After living in Frisco, TX for five years, I have come to realize that this town is one that is set up on the basis of cowboys and horses being on every corner. This is a small town, which I enjoy, but I could do without all of the western gear that I see in stores. However, my r ...Read More ent is fairly inexpensive as a three-bedroom house only runs about $800 a month. I do live on the outskirts of the city, so apartments might be a little more expensive as they are closer to town as well as houses in the downtown area.

One of the things that I like about Frisco is that it's only about 30 miles from Dallas. This makes it easy to go to football games to see the Dallas Cowboys play at home. When I want to worship, I go to Stonebriar Community Church. This is a large church, but I like that in a place of worship because I don't have to worry about what other people think of me when I sing. One disadvantage is that I don't know a lot of the people there, but the message on Sunday morning is amazing, so I try to talk to those who sit near me.

I have two children, and one of my favorite places to take them is Main Event. There is bowling, arcade games and a laser tag area. The prices are a bit high, but we can stay there all day and always find something to do whether it's seeing who can bowl the highest game or who can win the most prize tickets. Some of the games seem rigged, so if they look like they are too easy, avoid them because you won't get many tickets. Read Less

While it may not be as famous as its namesake city in California, Frisco, Texas, is coming into its own as one of the fastest developing cities in all of Texas. As part of the Dallas and Fort Worth Metropolitan Area, Frisco offers its residents easy access to these cities at home prices that are well below the average for the metro area. Since its incorporation in the 1990s, the population of Frisco has grown to over 175,000 residents. The people who live here enjoy all of the conveniences of the neighboring cities without the traffic, noise, and congestion.
