I love the small town life in Grenada. If you like living off the beaten path but not too far from it, the way I do, you'll appreciate Grenada. The town is located in central Mississippi on I-55 which means we are out in the country, not far from the Holly Springs National Forest ...Read More
, which suits my preference for an outdoors lifestyle.
Nearby Grenada Lake has great crappie and bass fishing. We take the boat out there most weekends during the summer. Fall we spend time in the surrounding woods hunting whitetail deer and in the spring it's turkey season.
Fair warning though, for people looking for work there isn't much available here, and good houses can be hard to find, although when you do find one, the prices are a bit lower than for houses in other areas. The cost of living is also fairly low compared to other parts of the state and other regions in the country. Our needs are small, and the outdoor recreational opportunities here are perfect for us.
