Who doesn't want to live in a city with a huge chocolate factory? Hershey is the best selling brand of candy in the US. With the smell of chocolate wafts everywhere, dieters don't stand much of a chance.

oasters, water rides, and a boardwalk. Of course, lots of chocolate-themed everything, everywhere. Within the Hershey Park network of hotels, lodges, etc, there are a lot of nice restaurants where mostly everything on the menu is typically American cuisine.
Aside from the chocolate element, Hershey doesn't have a lot going on here. The job market for professionals is limited, although there's plenty of seasonal and labor-oriented work. Most people that live here are leading a lower income working class lifestyle. Most people work for Hershey here. There's not a lot of diversity here in the population or culturally. The schools aren't too great. There's also not a lot to do other than what tourists do, which differs from what locals like.
