Decent City with shopping and eating. 3 rating By Christinalou1978 ( May 11, 2012) I think Kingwood, WV is a decent city. Their is several stores and restaurants you can go to and once a year the last week in September they have the Preston County Buckwheat Festival, that's the counties version of a fair that is run by the fire department, and Shaw & Sons amuse ...Read More ment rides. Now that is something that I have always enjoyed. They have parades, carnival rides, fair foods, animals, and exhibits to look at. They also have a zoo in the Kingwood area called the Hovatters Zoo And Wildlife. It's good place to check out and take your family and loved ones. Read Less
