shop or eat out. Closest grocery store is 15 min away. Things like post office and tax offices have short hours. Everything revolves around the golf course. Laguna vista is also a political and racial minority pocket meaning the county is majority Hispanic and Democratic while Laguna Vista is probably neither for its majority. 20 min drive to the island-beautiful weather. Very little light pollution so you can see the stars at night. Lots of opportunities to see wildlife. No sidewalks really. Lots of small parks. Friendly people, low crime. They just built a really cool looking wildlife conservation/education center.
