With a high crime rate that is above the national average and high cost of living, this city has not been an easy place to live. I have found it difficult to maintain full-time employment, and the job market is not stable. The educational system is poor and has overcrowded classr ...Read More

There is not much to do living in McKinleyville, CA and the city does not offer many amenities. The residents that live here are from within the state, and over 92% speak English. There are plenty of married couples with children under the age of 17, and the population is primarily Caucasian. The price of a home is lower than the rest of California, and the housing market is stable.
The weather is feasible, and the temperature can fall below 23 degrees during the winter months. In the summer the weather is warm, but it doesn’t get unbearably hot.
