ce Park has basketball courts, playground equipment, and a splash pad to cool you down during the 100-degree summer. The Mendota Wildlife Center, located just out of town, offers camping and hunting of waterfowl, which some may find interesting.
Mendota is a rural city, which for some, may be a concern when considering moving to the area. There are a few good restaurants featuring Mexican food, including Cecilia’s Restaurant, along with a pizza place, sandwich shop, and a few fast food restaurants. Living in Mendota, CA, nightlife in the town is minimal, however, residents can take a short trip to Fresno in about 45 minutes, which as a college town, does offer some nightlife, including clubs and other late-night entertainment.
