end time outside. It's nice not to have to leave the base to shop for essentials, and there are a few non-military jobs on base, plus many job opportunities in town. If you don't plan to live on base, you won't find much in the way of available/affordable housing in town. Minot is very isolated. The closest city is two hours away with next to nothing in between. Overall, it's not the worst place to live, but it's not at all exciting.
