Downtown Mint Hill is slow growing. It does need a bit of local growth. If Mint Hill can keep out Big Box, hire a designer that knows how to build a small (full of unique character) downtown and does NOT let in Cookie Cutter Developments build, it will be a cute small area. Mi ...Read More
nt Hill has one shot to build a cute downtown, ONE SHOT!. Mint Hill has already made a few big mistakes buy letting one cookie cutter build their garage houses. I hope they stop letting them build and push them out or Mint Hill will look like the rest of Charlotte and just be another bland town.

g work or education. It is, however, ideal for folks looking for an affordable city in which to settle down or retire.
You also will find limited options for shopping, recreation, and restaurants. The downtown area has a few places, but you might be driving to neighboring towns to find everything you need.
