Sidney, OH - Small Town Charm
I moved here to Sidney, OH in the early 2000's. I have been here now for 18 years; and I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. I love the big city with a small town charm to it. The city is full of history and beautiful scenery. It is a great place ...Read More
to raise a family, young couples, are retiring couples to live. The city is a community of family, everyone seems to know you and are concerned about you. Living here in Sidney, is not only relaxing, but economically sound as well.
Some of the best places in Sidney are historically landmarked and others are just plain fun. If you want to get educated on the history of Sidney, OH; I would suggest that you go to the Ross Historical Center. The center can point you in the right direction to see some of the Sidney's major landmarks; they can also share with you other places of interests.
My family and I enjoy going out to Tawawa City Park. We take scenic walks and have picnics there; we sit for hours just soaking in the good vibrations and the sun. Vandemark Farm is another family place to go to, so much fun and excitement all around. at Vandemark Farm's kids can run free and so can the adults.
I have taken my kids downtown to go to the myriad of shops located their. From arts and crafts to furnishings, the downtown area is the place to be for shopping. My husband and I go on our weekly date nights to dinner and then we may stop off at the local Historic Sidney Theatre for some local entertainment and culture. Anyone would love it here, the schools are nice and so are the people.
