A City With History and So Much Fun! 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Thibodaux, Louisiana is a cultural and commercial area. Economically the area focuses on industries supported by the oil industry, fishing, shrimp and oyster harvesting. The average income is about $39,000. The job market is attractive; nevertheless, there is an expected growth t ...Read More o occur throughout the next ten years to over 23%.

The temperatures in the summer are, wet, humid and tropical. There are consistent showers. The good thing is, the winters are pretty much the same cool, but not too cold and the added benefit is it does not snow in this area.

This area is great for vacationing and touring. The can't miss modern attractions and amenities of the coastal and marshland wild life will certainly get your attention. My kids loved the Bayou Country children's Museum in Thibodaux when we lived here last year. They have plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy, to name a few, floor piano, duck blind, giant bubbles and many more exciting activities that children enjoy. Read Less
