The Great Life City: So Much To Do 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I really enjoy living here in Troy! No matter what you are looking for, this city has a little of something for everybody. There are shopping malls, grocery stores, public transit, parks and schools nearby for your convenience. I know when a person moves to a new location, one of ...Read More their top concerns is the crime rate. Here in this city, the crime rate is low, which I know is a big plus!
There may be obstacles that will stand in the way of gaining employment as the unemployment rate is 2% higher nationally. There are 11 public schools and 4 private schools in the city. The average test scores for Troy are 54% higher than the national level. So, with the education aspect, Tory has built a positive reputation because the education is important here to us which will give the visitors the options they need.
The summers here is very interesting and fun. The weather here is very comfortable and not too hot and humid. The average temperature is around 71 degrees in the summer time and this leaves lots of opportunities to visit the Waco Air Museum as well as the Idle-Hour Ranch. Read Less
