The city has the Big Walnut Creek flowing through it. Whitehall is near Columbus, Ohio - only 8.7 miles away. Its primary income in the 1950s was farming.

It also has sub-standard education, employment and housing. There is an affordable cost of living. The Norton Field Park has plenty of playgrounds for your children. Otherwise, many people drive to Columbus for more recreational activities.

For a little African dining experience, you could visit the Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar in Whitehall, Ohio. There is also a Vegan bar called Flavor 91 Burger Bistro Beer & Wine Garden in Whitehall. Other dining options include Massey's Pizza, Rooster's Restaurant & Bar and the MCL Cafeteria.
